Being a teenager today isn't easy!
That's why it is our mission at Sisters Empowering S.I.S.T.A.S. to empower you with the necessary skills and confidence to be able to handle yourself in any situation life throws at you. Our ultimate goal is for you to become a strong, independent, and assertive woman, who will lead a successful life based upon your goals.
Through a series of programs focused on real-world experiences, you will learn the tools necessary to help you lead a well-rounded, balanced life centered on your personal beliefs, interests, and goals.
You will leave our program with the drive and self-esteem to maximize your potential by successfully accomplishing your personal goals and serving as a role-model for your friends and peers.
Sisters Empowering S.I.S.T.A.S. is for high-school girls only and is currently a school based program. If you are interested in joining please:

We're pleased that you are interested in learning more about Sisters Empowering S.I.S.T.A.S. and that you want to consider becoming a part of a S.I.S.T.A.S. Care Committee. S.I.S.T.A.S. is a non-profit, community-based program which is dedicated to empowering teenage girls with life skills, education, and guidance that will prepare them to lead well-rounded, balanced lives centered on their personal beliefs, interests, and goals. Our goal is to provide teenage girls with skills that will shape their dreams, mold their minds, and in the process influence their character.
Caring and compassionate adults who are concerned about our youth and youth education are an important and integral part of positive youth development. Volunteers can become positive role models for youth who participate in community-based programs, like S.I.S.T.A.S. We are looking for these kinds of individuals, who want to become a part of an organization that is doing great things in the community.
We truly believe that your willingness to step forward and participate in our efforts will bring great dividends and rewards to you. Working within the community, and especially with youth, can bring you immense satisfaction as you begin to see the change, growth and development. You, too, can gain new skills and meet new people as you participate and learn from different activities.
We have a variety of opportunities available for you to serve and we hope that you bring a great sense of excitement and enthusiasm with you! You will be able to participate on one or more of the following teams: 180 Program Assistant, Community Service, Fundraising, and Administration.

"180 Program" Details
Sisters Empowering S.I.S.T.A.S., Inc., is a four-year program designed for girls grades 9-12. The goal of the program is to empower participants with life skills, education, and guidance that will prepare them to lead well-rounded, balanced lives centered on their personal beliefs, interests, and goals.
Through a series of programs and activities focused on real-world circumstances, S.I.S.T.A.S. (Strong Independent Sisters Tackling Any Situation) will provide program participants with skills that will shape their dreams, mold their minds, and in the process influence their character. Participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of content through discussions, exercises, and other hands-on activities centered on a variety of situations.

- School Referral or Recruitment based
- Class Period or After School program
- School selects Modules based on student population needs
